Our Story
When we first stood on this land, many people saw a ruin.
We saw possibility.
Stone by stone, tree by tree and season by season, Dragonfly slowly came to life.
Every terrace was built with love.
Every pathway was carefully shaped.
Every garden planted with the hope that one day it would become the backdrop to someone’s most precious memories.
This wasn’t simply a construction project.
It became our life’s work.
More Than a Wedding Venue
We never wanted to build just another wedding venue.
We wanted to create a place where families stay together for days rather than hours.
Where children can swim together before the ceremony.
Where grandparents relax beneath olive trees.
Where friends become family.
Where every guest feels part of something unforgettable.
Why Southern Spain?
Andalusia offers something truly magical.
More than 320 days of sunshine each year.
Spectacular mountain views.
Whitewashed villages.
Warm evenings.
Relaxed Mediterranean living.
It creates the perfect setting for destination weddings that feel effortless and unforgettable.

The Birth of the Rose Pool
If there is one place that captures the spirit of Dragonfly, it’s the Rose Pool.
When we looked across the land, we didn’t see an ordinary swimming pool. We imagined a place that would become the heart of Dragonfly—a place where families would laugh together, children would play, wedding guests would gather, and newlyweds would celebrate beneath the Andalusian sky.
The design was created by Ms King, inspired by the gentle curves found in nature rather than straight lines. Every contour was carefully planned to feel as though it belonged to the landscape, creating a pool that is as beautiful to look at as it is to enjoy.
Turning that vision into reality was no small task.
Mark took on the challenge of building the Rose Pool by hand. From the first excavation to the final concrete pour, countless hours of determination, problem-solving and hard work went into creating what many guests now describe as the heart of Dragonfly.
Guiding the construction every step of the way was Dave, whose experience and practical knowledge helped transform sketches on paper into a lasting reality. His direction ensured that every curve, level and structural detail came together exactly as envisioned.
Today, the Rose Pool is more than a swimming pool.
It has become a place where wedding photographs are taken, champagne is shared, friendships begin, and unforgettable memories are made. Every celebration held beside its waters carries a little piece of the journey that brought Dragonfly to life.

Every beautiful wedding venue has a story, but the most memorable ones are built with heart. Don't just choose a place because it's beautiful today—choose somewhere with a story you'll be proud to become part of.
